To EQUIP you as parents…

A bit of technological parental guidance: Ever wished you could have someone help you navigate the world of movies and video games to figure out which things would be good for your kids and which things wouldn't? If so, you might appreciate the new podcast, Is THIS For Kids? It's described as "an entertaining, humor-filled podcast helping you make informed decisions for your kids' media diet". The 6 episodes they've done so far have covered Fortnite, the new TMNT Movie, Bluey, and more.

A bit of discipleship reframing: Parenting is hard, and the struggle to feel like we're keeping up with all the things is real. If you've ever felt like you can't do enough to train your kids in the way of Jesus, this article provides a refreshing perspective on how to "simplify discipleship in the home".

To ENRICH you in your walk with Christ...

A bit of encouragement and wisdom: For anyone who has ever felt the pain of living through trials, this sermon by Alistair Begg is full of words of hope that will help you either in the trial you are walking through now or for the next one you face.

A bit of partnership in prayer: One of the best gifts we share as believers is prayer. As we move through this school year, you are welcome to join our prayer ministry. The deep hope of this ministry is that you will both give and receive blessings as you pray for and with others. Click here to learn more.

To help you ENGAGE with your kids...

Some pieces of uplifting music to play: If you are ever looking for music to play in your home or perhaps in a setting where you are leading a group of kids, check out these free playlists of various kinds of Christian music. From upbeat Christian music to Scripture songs to lullabies and more, the hope is that all of these playlists can help kids worship God through music.

A bit of help for children around the world: This weekend, you and your children could do something both fun and meaningful together by participating in Feed My Starving Children. Volunteers (ages 5 and older) can sign up for 2-hour time slots and hand-pack nutritious meals with provided ingredients. These meals are then donated to FMSC partners around the world for distribution - last year over 130,000 meals were packed at Pottstown's MobilePack event, and this year the goal is 160,000!

We hope these bits and pieces are a blessing to you as you continue to follow Jesus in your everyday life. Thanks for allowing us to share!
